Opdrachtgever: Petro Chemical Terminal

Our client is a large petroleum blending and trading terminal. The terminal is responsible for the delivery fuel to the northern part of the Benelux with tanker movements and marine barge movements and a crucial role in the Rhine supply chain. The terminal blends fuel components and operates seagoing vessel movements to serve international markets.
Candidate will be employed by Cataly Partners during at least a year, with the possibility to join the permanent staff of our client in the Amsterdam Area.

Responsibilities:

  • The Engineering Team Leader is responsible for the Terminal Engineering Team in the field of Mechanical, E/I & Automation and Project Procurement.
  • Oversees Management of Change (MOC) process and acts as the technical authority at the Blending Terminal site.
  • Execution of CAPEX projects compliant with standards for Project Execution Planning, Estimate Assurance, Project Cost & Schedule Control, Project
  • Reporting, Risk analysis and Engineering Archives.
  • Manage the performance of the engineering and construction contractors.
  • Day to day interface with operations, maintenance and construction personnel to assist with mechanical/integrity/general plant projects.
  • Network with authorities to obtain/maintain the required licenses and project approvals.
  • HSSE delivery of the on site projects in coordination with overall site HSSE including being responsible for COW (Control of Work) in a Permit Controlled Environment.
  • Financial signature approval up to 25.000 Euro per event.

Job Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
    *Experience in oil and gas, preferably experience with Oil Logistics Operations or terminals.
  • Experience in mechanical integrity and management of change (MOC) is required.
  • Experience with setting and delivering HSSE objectives for projects.
  • Experience in HAZID, ATEX, Hazop and API would be an advantage.
  • Capability to manage (small) multi discipline projects, including multiple suppliers of engineering and construction services
  • Fluent in Dutch and English and basic knowledge of German.
  • Knowledge of regulations, procedures and documentation within the scope
  • Knowledge of office and engineering software.
  • Ability to gather and prioritize recommendations and concerns (internal and 3rd parties).
