For one of our clients in the Port of Rotterdam area we are searching an experienced Construction Manager (Vacancy 27) for (parts of) an large and complex project in the field of energy, petrochemical facilities and storage and handling.

Position
Leadership in the field of constructability and construction management in all phases of the project.
Phases are contracting, engineering, construction and commissioning.
The position is an owners representation (joint venture team).
Support for the contracting and engineering phase (constructability).
Construction management of this large scale project for the development of terminals, comprising of petrochemical facilities, jetty facilities, storage and handling facilities and lay-out and infrastructure.

Criteria
At least 15 years experience with large scale investment projects, and a track record with for example 2 or 3 projects with a EUR 200 mio + budget. Worked in complex international and multidisciplinary project teams.
Relevant technical background, for example mechanical engineering or chemical engineering. Civil engineering background or experience can also be an asset.
Extensive experience with the management of EPC contracts and international projects (Fidic for example).
Workload is 200 days per year during a period of 4 years.
Available as of September 2007.
Fluent in English.
