Senior Inspection Engineer (SKK Level 3)

Our client is an outstanding exploration and production company that has been engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas in the Netherlands and in the Dutch sector of the North Sea over many years. Client-organization has a job opening.

Position

The Senior Inspection Engineer works in an international environment. 
Manage periodic inspection of pressure equipment of offshore installations. 
To ensure compliance of periodic inspection programmes with Dutch regulations.
To liaise with AKI on statutory inspections of pressure equipment. 
To establish / validate yearly inspection programme of pressure equipment. 
To perform / validate site inspection of pressure equipment and to define the follow-up actions.
To assess and to validate modifications or repairs of pressure equipment, and the associated inspection requirements.
To carry-out and to maintain Risk Based Inspection analysis of pressure equipment.
To conduct internal audits on Quality Assurance system.
Keep up close contacts with the Dutch Inspection authorities and with the goup’s Inspection Discipline.

Requirements

You have a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or in Oil & Gas Technology.
In addition you have a SKO Level 3 Inspection Engineering certificate (or EWE).
About 5 years experience on pressure equipment inspection is required.
You are fluent in both in Dutch and in English.
Good communication skills, team spirit, accuracy, as well as technical curiosity, are of major importance.
Given the international character of the client’s group, you should be prepared at some time, to be expatriated to another entity of client’s group.
